This is sung early in the first act. 'Phantom' has taken Christine by boat on an underground lake to his lair beneath the Paris Opera House. In this hauntingly romantic  song he professes his love for his  music and for Christine. In return he ask  Christine for her trust and devotion. 
 
 
 

This song is sung about midway through the first act by Dr. Henry Jekyll.  It is late at night and he is in his laboratory. He is about to test his revolutionary experiment on himself. after the hospital's Board of Governor's haughtily turned down his request to allow human experimentation. It is Dr. Jekyll's hope that with this potion, he will be able to separate the good from evil in all man..
 
 
 

This song is sung in the second act by Mrs. Potts
(a teapot) as the Beast dances with Beauty in the grand ballroom of  his castle. Young love in bloom.....A very romantic scene indeed! Brad's wife, Barbara McCulloh joins him for a touching duet.
