Angels of Music IV
"Cheetahs in Flight"
Angel's of Music IV
took
place in Cincinnati on Monday May 09, 2005. Music Hall ballroom was decorated
in the colors of an African sunset. Guest dined on a variety of pre-concert
goodies from various food stations and began bidding on items from the
silent auction. The evening's entertainment was provided by Brad Little,
Barbara McCulloh, Ron Bohmer, and Judy McLane. Erich Kunzel of the
Cincinnati Pops hosted the concert. Cathryn Hilker was present as well
as Cat Ambassador cheetahs Moya, Sarah, Chance, and Bravo. The concert
started with "Circle of Life". Highlights included Brad and Ron singing
"Music of the Night", Brad and Barbara with a duet from "Beauty and the
Beast", Brad and Judy with "New York, New York", Barbara with a lively
rendition of "Ring Them Bells" and Brad singing "Empty Chairs at
Empty Tables". To add to the fun the first act ended with an 8 song
Broadway medley. Patrons were asked to put in $20.00 per table to
take part in a "Name the Show" game. As each song was sung, the group had
to write down the name of the show. Winning tables (and there were a few)
could reclaim their $20.00. In the spirit of the evening, everyone left
their money on the table which raised $4,000.00. The evening ended with
a very moving Power Point presentation of "cheetahs in flight" by Peter
Sylvester to the music of "For Good" and "I Believe I Can Fly". The singers
were accompanied by Neil Berg, Roger Cohen, and David Weinstein.
Angels of Music IV was a tremendous success.
The event raised over $140,000 for the Angel
Fund.
