Angels of Music II

"The Celebration Continues"
 

Angel's  of Music II took place in Cincinnati on Monday June 14, 1999. Like the first concert in September of 1997, the evening was unforgettable. The ballroom at Music Hall the setting for the the night's cabaret concert. The room, decorated with silhouettes of giraffes, lions and other African animals, set the evenings safari theme. Guest dined on a variety of pre-concert goodies from various food stations from around the room and viewed silent auction items. The evening's entertainment was provided by Brad Little, Barbara McCulloh, Ron Bohmer, Cathryn Hilker and of course, the cats. Erich Kunzel of the Cincinnati Pops hosted the concert. The first song of the evening was a very moving rendition of "The Circle of Life". Other highlights were Brad and Barbara's duet "Last Night of the World" Miss Saigon. Brad and Ron Bohmer brought the room to their feet with their duet of "Music of the Night". UnMasked fans were treated to the live version of "I Remember". To add to the evening's excitement, it was announced that original artwork "Legacy" that was used as the theme of of Angel's of Music II, brought in the winning bid of $4,000. The artwork, featured by wild life artist Debbie Lentz, featured Angel, Kenya, Maya and Moya. Cat ambassadors past and present. The evening ended with a very touching song, "Gone to Soon", in which Maya joined Barbara on stage. The encore was "Let There Be". The performers were accompanied by Musical Director and Pianist - Neil Berg, Bass - Alan Green and Percussion - Mark Frankel. After the concert the patrons enjoyed dessert, had a chance to chat with the performers and bid on silent auction items. The concert was once again a tremendous success.
